Age Division Information

Tee Ball

Available to boys and girls.
Must be five years old on or before August 31st.
Boys who are 7 years old as of January 1 are eligible for baseball and girls in 1st grade are eligible for softball.
The player does not have to currently be in kindergarten, however, should be living in the Beal City school district or be part of a school of choice family in our district.
Practices typically begin in late May or early June.
Tee ball games will be played on weekdays in June.

AA Baseball (Farm League)

Available to 7 and 8 year old boys. See Little League Age Chart
Practices will begin early April to mid-April depending on weather and field conditions.
Opening day and pictures are scheduled for the last Saturday of April.
Play on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 6:15 at various fields in Beal City, Mt. Pleasant, and Shepherd.
Weekly games will begin the week following opening day.

AAA Baseball (Minors Division)

Available to 9 and 10 year old boys. See Little League Little League Age Chart
Practices will begin early April to mid-April depending on weather and field conditions.
Opening day and pictures are scheduled for the last Saturday of April
Play on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:15 at various fields in Beal City, Mt. Pleasant, and Shepherd.
Weekly games will begin the week following opening day.

Majors Baseball

Available to 11 and 12 year old boys. See Little League Little League Age Chart
Practices will begin early April to mid April depending on weather and field conditions
Opening day and pictures are scheduled for the last Saturday of April
Play on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 6:15 at various fields in Beal City, Mt. Pleasant, and Shepherd.
Weekly games will begin the week following opening day.

Junior League Baseball

Available to 13 and 14 year old boys. See Little League Age Chart
Practices will begin early April to mid-April depending on weather and field conditions.
Metal cleats are allowed.
Play games on Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6:15 (7 inning game) at various fields in Beal City, Chippewa Hills, Shepherd, Alma, Clare, Montabella, and Ithaca.
Games will begin early May.

Instructional Girls Softball

Available to 1st and 2nd grade girls.
Practices will begin early April to mid-April depending on weather and field conditions.
Opening day and pictures are the last Saturday of April.
Play on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 6:30 at various fields in Beal City and Mt. Pleasant.
Games will begin early May through the middle of June.

Minor Girls Softball

Available to 3rd and 4th grade girls
Practices will begin early April to mid-April depending on weather and field conditions.
Opening day and pictures are the last Saturday of April.
Play on Monday and Wednesday evenings at 6:30 at various fields in Beal City and Mt. Pleasant.
Games will begin the end of April through the middle of June.

Major Girls Softball

Available to 5th and 6th grade girls.

7th and 8th Grade Softball

Available to 7th and 8th grade girls.
Practices will begin late May or early June.
Play double headers on Tuesday evenings beginning at 5:30 and 7:15 at various fields in Mt. Pleasant.
Games will begin mid-June through July.
